Lydia's Got This by SpeedyHimura Lydia's Got This by SpeedyHimura
She's got this! Yeah!

I wonder what she's pumped up for? Whatever it is, her boss must be happy about it...more or less.

Well, first I drew the sketch on paper, then I redid it in sketchbook pro, then I lined in PaintTool SAI, and colored in photoshop.  :D

I hope that's helpful.  :P

Yes actually.  My tablet's a Cintiq 20WSX.  I find it best to draw on screen.  :P

Yes, and no.  It's really dependent on your preference as an artist.  Some people can make wonders with just a normal tablet (intuos or bamboo or any of the other off brands).  Some people can actually do awesome stuff with screen tablets (Cintiq or a tablet PC).

I'd say try to find a cheapish normal tablet for now (either a wacom or some sort of off brand tablet) just to test the waters.  If you feel you'll want to draw directly rather than have to use a normal tablet, then try giving a tablet pc or a cintiq a try.  More preferably if you're tight on cash go for a tablet PC.  Cintiq's are very expensive (the 13HD one they have out right now is $1000), and well....yeah, very expensive.  :P
